The institute's research division plans to conduct 25 case studies this year. Studies in this area will also be conducted on 25 events representing various sections of the Samurdhi Production Villages and Saubhagya Cluster Villages. These studies provide a sociological inquiry into whether the Production Villages and Prosperity Cluster Villages program has positively fulfilled the aspirations of the people. The program provides an opportunity to gain an understanding of the impact on the socio-economic status of the community as well as the overall project and provides excellent guidance on the objectives, goals and processes of the development process. At the end of the year, 25 research reports will be published.
