We intend to implement training programs in parallel with the programs implemented in 200 villages under the Samurdhi Production Villages and Prosperity Production Cluster Village Programs initiated and implemented by the Department of Samurdhi Development with the objective of socio-economic empowerment of low income Samurdhi beneficiary families. In the first phase of this program, the status study identifies the programs that are expected to be carried out in collaboration with the community through the participatory development methodology for 25 villages. It is then hoped to identify members with entrepreneurial potential and develop them as entrepreneurs through an investigative process with the beneficiary families. This involves the implementation of training programs on business start-ups and development for 500 individuals with entrepreneurial potential identified in the low-income community in Samurdhi Production Villages and Prosperity Production Cluster Villages. Through it, the Government's National Strategies for Implementing National Informatics Violence through the development of knowledge, skills and attitudes required to enhance the entrepreneurial capabilities of the community, to economically empower and build the beneficiaries in the Samurdhi program as entrepreneurs and to develop the existing small scale enterprises. We are planning to increase the national income by directly contributing to the program.
