Publication Programmes

With the objective of disseminating knowledge on rural development and alleviation of poverty the Publication Division of Rural Development Training and Research Institute is implemented. Academic (Educational) magazine, Prajashakthi magazine and the books such as Tharanaya, othermagazines and newsletters etc. are published annually by the Publications Division. For those who are engaged in community based development programmes as well as those involved in research and academic activities related to development programmes,the books published by this division are of primary importance. Arrangements have been made to obtain Prajashakthi magazine, Tharanaya newsletter and the academic magazine free of charge from the Publications Division.

Facilities have also been made available by the Publications Division at the libraries of Borella and Pilimathalawa centers for the scholars engaged in the field of rural development, development activists, university intellectuals and university students to purchase the books namely,
