The inaugural session of the 'Empowering Youth Community through Entrepreneurship and Leadership' training workshop, organized by The Rural Development Training and Research Institute, took place on April 30, 2024, at the Auditorium of the Institute itself. This session saw active participation from Youth Services Officers, Samurdhi Managers, and Development Officers from the Divisional Secretariats of the Colombo District. The resources for this event were generously provided by Mr. Saman Waduge (Retd. SLAS Officer), Director of the Rural Development Training Research Institute, Mrs. Thilini Surangika Karasnagoda, Head of the Training Division, Mr. Sirisena and Ms. Mangalika Wanasundara, Training and Research Officer.
On May 7, 2024, another impactful training workshop titled 'Empowering the Youth Community through Entrepreneurship and Leadership' took place at the Pilimatalawa Centre of the Rural Development Training and Research Institute. This session engaged Youth Services Officers, Samurdhi Managers, and Development Officers from the Divisional Secretariats of the Kandy District. The resources for this event were generously provided by Mr. Saman Vaduge (Retd.) of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service. Noteworthy attendees included the Deputy Director of the Rural Development Training and Research Institute and Training and Research Officer, Mrs. Premani Daswatte.
ශ්‍රී ජයවර්ධනපුර විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයේ භූගෝල විද්‍යා අධ්‍යයන අංශය හා එක්ව වාර්ශිකව සංවිධානය කරන ,සහභාගිත්ව ග්‍රාමීය සැලසුම්කරණය පිළිබඳ පුහුණු වැඩසටහන 2023.04.24 වන දින පැවැත්වු අතර මහාචාර්ය සුනේත්‍රා තෙන්නකෝන් ඇතුළු භුගෝල විද්‍යා විශේෂවේදි උපාධිය හදාරණ අවසන් වසරේ සිසුන් 40 දෙනෙකු මෙම අවස්ථාව සඳහා සහභාගි විය.මෙම පුහුණු වැඩ සටහන සඳහා සම්පත් දායකත්වය ජෙෂ්ඨ පුහුණු පර්යේෂණ නිලධාරි ආචාර්ය ඒ.එස් එස්. අතපත්තු මහතා සහ ඩබ්.එස් .සිරිසේන මහතා විසින් දරන ලදි.
2023 ජනවාරි 18 දින කාන්තා, ළමා කටයුතු හා සමාජ සවිබලගැන්වීම් අමාත්‍යාංශයේ ලේකම් යමුනා පෙරේරා මැතිණිය එම අමාත්‍යාංශයේ අතිරේක ලේකම් හේමා පෙරේරා මහත්මිය සමඟ ග්‍රාම සංවර්ධන අභ්‍යාස හා පර්යේෂණ ආයතනයේ අධීක්ෂණ චාරිකාවක නියැලුණි. එහිදී එම දෙපළ පිළිගැනීමෙන් අනතුරුව ආයනයේ අධ්‍යක්ෂ ආර්. කේ. සමන් අනුර මහතා ඇතුළු නිලධාරීන් සමඟ පැවැත් වූ සාකච්ඡාවේ අවස්ථාවක්.
